The Experiences of Asian Working Holiday Makers in Australia
Commencing in 2016, this project investigates the experiences of Asian Working Holiday (visa subclass 417) and Work and Holiday Makers (visa subclass 462) in Australia. The research seeks to determine how working holiday experiences effect, and become entwined in, the life-course of these visa holders.
If you have held one of these visas, please consider sharing your experiences. The findings will contribute to a better understanding of Australia’s working Holiday Programme. The survey is available in English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese and Korean.

Sensual Essays – Open Access eBooks
This series of three eBooks was developed as companion books to Transformative Travel in a Mobile World published by CABI in 2016. The books are comprised of photographs representing three research journeys I undertook for the Transformative Travel Research Project. While these are visually driven journeys intended to explore travel and transformation beyond text (see the series preface within for a full explanation), chapter 4 of Transformative Travel in a Mobile World contains as alternate version with a textual narration of these journeys, multi-image figures and image captions. I strongly recommend readers access both versions.
